Yardley, PennsylvaniaBoarding Student
Ryan discovers a passion for woodworking and rekindles a love of baseball.

What new experiences have you enjoyed?

At George School, I have branched out and created new opportunities for myself. I have been able to make friends and meet people who come from everywhere and have unique backgrounds. I took a woodworking class, which was new to me, but it has become one of my favorites. Also, before coming to George School, I had stopped playing baseball for three years, but through the help of my supportive coaches, I was able to rekindle my love for the sport. Coach George Long has pushed me to get better at my sport and as a person and has showed me that putting myself into uncomfortable situations can lead to growth.
