Zachary Sharma ’18

Chapman University
Zachary saw a different world in Central America and created his own on the George School stage.

What did you think of your George School service trip?

I went to Costa Rica in the summer for my George School service trip. I went with a few of my closest friends, and I got to see a part of the world I never would have experienced without George School. I got to see rainforests, mountains covered in fog, all kinds of animals, and volcanoes. We even got to stay with a Costa Rican family.

What was your favorite extracurricular activity?

My most exciting activity outside of class was the theater productions I acted in. Daily rehearsals gave me a break from the academic day.

More about Zachary:

Zachary fed his interest in the performing arts not only by acting in school plays, but also by taking theater and film-making courses, co-leading the Short Film Club, and taking part in the Improv Club. He was also an Admission tour guide and day student prefect—no acting required.
