Revised Term 2 Exam Schedule

Since a winter storm may disrupt travel for examinations on Monday, March 4, George School is creating contingency plans to provide make-up opportunities on Thursday and Friday. Students who miss exams on Monday should communicate with their teachers about make-up plans.

Monday March 4

For boarders and any day students able to get to campus safely, we will follow the normal exam schedule for Monday regardless of the snow. We expect that some day students will not be present and some teachers will need substitutes to administer their exams.

Wednesday March 6

12:30 to 2:30 p.m.  Arrangement 4

Thursday March 7

8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Arrangement 2

12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Arrangement 6
(This is a make-up time for students who were unable to take Arrangement 6 exams on Monday.)

Friday March 8

8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Arrangement 1
(This is a make-up time for students who were unable to take Arrangement 1 exams on Monday.)

12:30 to 2:30  p.m. Extra Make-Up Block
(This is a makeup time for students who were unable to take an exam at other times.)

Please note that exams in some IB, AP, and term courses will be three hours long (thus ending at either 11:30 a.m. or 3:30 p.m.), although other exams this term are only two hours long. If you are in an IB, AP, or term course and are not sure whether the exam is two or three hours long, please check with your teacher.
