I came to George School from a much smaller school where students did not receive grades until 6th grade and we never had a lot of tests or homework. At George School, I was introduced to a much more rigorous academic environment. Grades weighed more heavily than in my past school and we also have more homework and more tests.
This was something that I had to adjust to and I learned a good handful of skills. One of the most important skills was time management. I struggled with it at the beginning of freshman year but I gradually got better over time.
