Let your life speak

At George School

we're brighter together.

Our academic experience is a collective effort to cultivate each student’s highest ambitions. The George School Academic Program re-imagines the school day. It empowers teachers to be bold, creative, and collaborative. It empowers students to choose their own challenges: the IB diploma, IB courses, APs, adventurous opportunities for global study, artistic expression, service learning, and more.

The result:

An education that gives students the freedom and the support to become their most authentic selves.

 Intertwined

Apart from love, the notion of home — what it means, how it shapes us — is probably the most evocative.

Triplets Mira, Laith and Majd Abu Tahoun ’26 have, at times, called Tunisia, Jordan and Saudi Arabia home. For the past three years and counting, George School has been their home away from home.

The Joy of Getting Involved

“If you’re not letting your life speak, what are you doing with your life? You need to find your meaning in life. For me, it’s in doing things that bring me joy and bringing positivity into the world.”

His George School clubs schedule reads like a comprehensive list of keyword searches on the School’s “Get Involved” web page. But no worries: Jack Storie ’26 enjoys every item on that schedule.

Tallying George School Values

Were it not for statistics, Valerie Greaud doesn’t know if she would have found her way to George School. A statistician at heart with a penchant for working with students, a career pivot and class observation at George School in 2003 happened to coincide at a time when the math department was looking to establish a statistics program. Bill Enos, the math department head at the time, hired her… and she’s glad he did.
