*CAMP UPDATE – MAY, 29, 2020
Over the past several months and as part of our response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the GSDC team has closely monitored the latest information and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, federal and local health officials, and the American Camp Association in preparation for our summer program.
After thorough consideration, and out of an abundance of caution for our campers and staff, we have determined it necessary to cancel our 2020 GSDC program and GS Basketball Camp. The George School Equestrian summer program will operate as planned due to lower camper enrollment, and the ability to incorporate increased social distancing and other safety measures into the program.
George School Day Camp (GSDC) is open to boys and girls ages 4-14. Established in 1977, campers participate in a broad range of activities from archery to zip lining, from swimming to arts, and everything in between.
Our program focuses on age-appropriate games and activities to promote friendship and fun. Children practice skills—like working with others, waiting their turn, and handling success, failure, and frustration—in an environment where they are encouraged by a supportive and loving staff.
Located on the beautiful 240-acre George School campus, GSDC campers have access to athletic fields, tennis courts, a state-of-art fitness and athletics center, and so much more. Camp hours are from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Ask about our camp extras including before and after care and riding in our Equestrian Center.
GSDC is a member of the American Camp Association and follows their guidelines. We are a nut-free camp and can accommodate other food allergies and dietary restrictions.
June 22–August 14
