MacAdoo Harrison-Dixon Announced as Varsity Football Coach

George School is pleased to announce that MacAdoo Harrison-Dixon will join the community as Varsity Football Coach beginning this month.

With more than twenty years of coaching experience at the youth, high school, and semi-professional levels, MacAdoo comes to George School from Glasgow High School in Newark, DE, where he served as head varsity football coach. Other highlights of his extensive coaching career include serving as Varsity Coach and Athletic Director at Maurice J. Moyer Academy and Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the semi-pro Claymont Buccaneers. MacAdoo also founded a little league team in Wilmington, DE.

“I look forward to using my experience, knowledge, and passion for the sport to build a strong and successful program at George School,” said MacAdoo. “As I see it, one of the most important jobs of a coach is to develop and foster a healthy team culture, which is the foundation of any successful team.”

“MacAdoo received unanimous support from the search committee,” said Director of Athletics Kurt Ruch. “We are excited to welcome him to George School and eager to support his efforts to rebuild the football program.”
