New Director of Development Announced

George School is tremendously excited to announce that after conducting a national search which generated a pool of extremely well-qualified candidates, Jaime Zamparelli Abramov will join the community as our new Director of Development.

“Jaime brings her expertise in institutional advancement and a track record of increased giving and donor relationships,” said Head of School Sam Houser. “Additionally, Jaime has significant experience in team management and has made important and valued contributions to the leadership teams of the institutions she has served. She will be a collaborative partner who is eager to play a key role in bringing George School forward into its bright future.”

Jaime began her career in 2001 at the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation as Program Officer and then Development Officer. From 2005 to 2014 Jaime served as Associate Director of Capital Giving at Princeton University. She then became the Vice President for Advancement at Princeton Theological Seminary. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from New York University and a Master’s in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Jaime lives in Princeton with her husband, Ronnie, their children Danna and Ari, and a Portuguese water dog named Henry.

“I am thrilled to be joining George School,” said Jamie. “I am especially looking forward to getting to know the George School community—on campus and across the world—and to the important work we will be doing together supporting the school’s mission.”

Jamie will begin her new role on Monday, May 3.
