Jō Adachi Proves “Everybody Can Draw”

Jō Adachi, the painting and drawing teacher at George School, creates as both a teacher and artist, educating with the mantra that everyone can develop the skills to be an artist with the right mindset and approach. Many of Jō’s students have gone on to have careers as artists and built the foundation of their creative process at George School.

Jō Adachi and Carter Sio ’76 Featured in Art of the State Exhibition

George School is proud to announce that Jō Adachi and Carter Sio ’76 were both selected as finalists for the 55th annual Art of the State Exhibition! Finalists were selected from 1,850 entries from 542 artists. Jō and Carter are two of the three artists who were selected from Bucks County for this state-wide art show.

Art Exhibitions Showcase Outstanding Student Work

The art galleries at George School have come alive with outstanding student artwork this spring season. The All School Art Show is on display from Saturday, April 30, 2022, until Monday, May 23, 2022, and includes work from all visual arts classes.
