While the paintings can be most directly defined as landscapes, they can be more accurately described as representations of the constantly changing energy of our relationship with not only ourselves, but also with those around us and with our environment. They examine the unbreakable but changeable connections that exist between forces both within us and without.

Twelfth Night Comes to Walton Auditorium

The George School performing arts department is excited to bring Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night to Walton Auditorium on Friday, November 5 and Saturday, November 6, 2021. Twelfth Night was first printed in the 1623 collection of what is now known as the First Folio.

Exhibit Honoring Refugees Debuts in Walton Gallery

“The Power of Faces” photography exhibit opens in Walton Gallery on Monday, August 30. This gallery, features photographs by Daniel Farber Huang p ’22, and focuses on the global refugee crisis. Daniel, his wife Teresa Menders, and their daughter Celeste Huang-Menders ’22, travel across the world taking pictures of and for refugees.

Scott Seraydarian ’90 Publishes Curse of the Crystal Cavern

The Pathfinders are off on another adventure in their newest graphic novel, “The Curse of the Crystal Cavern,” co-authored by Prescott (Scott) Seraydarian ’90, George School Film teacher.
Scott and writing partner Fransesco Sedita will discuss their new book at a virtual event sponsored by the Doylestown Bookshop and Mercer Museum on the day of its release, Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 6:00 p.m.

George School Student Films Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival

Two George School student films—”Healing Justice” and “Hero for Humanity”—premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. They tied for third place in the prestigious RFK Speak Truth to Power video contest. sponsored by the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organization.

Students Perform Heathers: the Musical to Largest In-Person Audience Since 2019

On Friday, May 21 and Saturday, May 22, 2021 George School theater students performed their final theater production of the year, Heathers: the Musical. While the audience was mainly watching the performance from computer screens around the world, more than one-hundred guests, socially distant and masked, were permitted inside Walton Auditorium each night.
