Head of School Sam Houser shared a message of solidarity with the Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander communities in an email to George School students, faculty, and staff.

Accomplished Writer Anna Moschovakis recently joined the Argo staff via Zoom for a writing workshop. Anna is not only a writer but a translator, as well, with a great love for language.  

The Head of School’s list recognizes a student’s commitment to excellence in attitude, effort, initiative, and preparation. To be named to the Head of School’s List students must be nominated by at least five teachers. To earn a spot on the Honor Roll list, students must receive no grade lower than a B or an overall B+ average with no grade below a C.

Some folks baked sourdough bread, others learned TikTok dances, this mother-daughter team of entrepreneurs featuring George School junior Maya Renee Cockburn ‘22 built The Culture Campus, LLC while quarantined last year.

George School’s College Counseling team is hosting an online college tour this spring. The event is designed to help students with college selection throughout the ongoing pandemic. “The college application process is difficult in a normal year,” said Beth Ann Burkmar, Director of College Counseling.

George School is thrilled to announce that Ellen Zhang ’21 and David Xi ’21 have been named national merit finalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). Ellen and David are two of 16,000 students selected from across the country to receive this honor.
