George School alumni will gather at Liberté Lounge in Philadelphia to celebrate the holidays on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
This year’s fall theater performance is A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare. The play comes to Walton Center on November 2 and 3 at 8:00 p.m. Both shows are free and open to the public.
George School is pleased to welcome current parents to campus on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Parents have the opportunity to attend their child’s classes, meet with teachers, join Head of School Sam Houser as he delivers his annual address, and participate in college counseling and service learning seminars.
Students will have the opportunity to celebrate George School’s 125th anniversary with their own event We Are the World in Marshall on Saturday, October 20 from 7:00 to 10:30 p.m.
George School invites you to join the community for one of the school’s most beloved and longstanding traditions, Harvest Weekend, on Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28.
George School’s fall Admission Open House is scheduled for Sunday, October 28, 2018. Registration will open at 1:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 2:00 p.m.
Earl Rice will tell his story, Forty-Three Years in Prison, to the George School community in an upcoming assembly on Friday, October 12 at 10:25 a.m. in Walton Auditorium.
On Sunday, September 9, 2018 George School will host a Club Fair for all students as part of Orientation Weekend. The fair encourages students to meet their peers with shared interests.
Voices & Visions presents the views of twenty-four contemporary Haitian artists, speaking about what inspires their work, as well as images of their paintings and sculpture.
This fall, Maxine (Xina) Graham-Vannais ’11 and her father David Graham will present Here, There, and Back, a photography exhibit in the Class of 1956 Gallery in the Mollie Dodd Anderson Library.
