George School has provided me with a strong foundation to achieve future success. Academically, George has taught me how to think critically. When I’m presented with a problem, I’m confident that I can analyze and resolve it.
Amedeo Salamoni brings at least four to six speakers into his classroom every year to expose students to a broad spectrum of voices in his field. For example, though he can offer students expertise in clay, he might bring a glassblower into his sculpture class to explore other mediums students may be interested in learning.
The George School community is one that really cares about and supports each other, and we all want to see each other succeed. Our lives outside of the classroom are just as important as inside of it. It is a place where I have been encouraged to explore and discover new passions.
In George School, I’ve found kindness in many places. My junior summer, I joined a service trip abroad. I wasn’t familiar with anyone on the trip, and it was quite daunting to suddenly be traveling to Japan and to be spending time with new people!
I love dancing at George School because it offers the opportunity for those who enjoy dance to take their skills to new heights. We perform in front of friends and family during events such as our Winter Assembly and Dance Eclectic.
At George School everyone is genuinely loving, caring, and wishes for one another to succeed.

Our Fall Open House is scheduled for Sunday, October 24 and I hope you can join me and the rest of our Admission team at 1:30 p.m. EDT. This is the perfect opportunity to take a deep dive into what George School has to offer.

In Bonaire, it was really amazing to think about how everyone else is living their lives on land, while the fish and the corals are living separately in a different world underwater. The fish and other marine life that amaze us are just normal, daily life for everything that is living subaqueously.

Being away from home has taught me many things, but being an international student has taught me that everyone is different and not everyone will think like you. George School does an amazing job of making you feel at home.

On this trip, we’ve witnessed the hardships of survival, experienced the power of grit and perseverance, and learned to understand the absolute necessity for communication. To change the world, we must begin by understanding each other—and ultimately, learn to love all people for who they are.
